Sustainable Productivity Growth feat. Robert Bertram

USAID Chief Scientist for the Bureau of Resilience and Food Security, Robert Bertram, joined the GAP Initiative at the 2023 World Food Prize Borlaug Dialogue to discuss the importance of sustainable agricultural productivity growth and its impact on climate, food security, and nutrition. Bertram discusses the role of innovative technologies in enhancing agricultural productivity while minimizing environmental impact. With a background in plant breeding and genetics, Bertram has led USAID’s efforts to advance global food security and nutrition through research, technology, and implementation.
